Introduction

Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) is a digital solution that helps manufacturers to manage production planning and shop floor scheduling. Using advanced algorithms to balance demand and capacity and generate achievable production schedules, APS software results in shorter lead times to meet customer demands and easier, more rapid responses to unexpected production changes.

Achievement

This is the most productive project I have joined. I joined the APS Lab of Soochow University in 2017 as a member of the undergraduate group, and was promoted to the leader of this group in 2019. In 2021, I started my internship as a research assistant.

During this period, I have published two papers in leading peer-reviewed journals as first author, launched a product—APS-Lite, and applied a copyright of an Android software. My graduation project was also related to production scheduling and won Excellence Award (only one quota in our department).
